Erin, a Pittsburgh, PA-based provider of an employee referral platform, raised $5M in funding.

The round was led by Reformation Partners with participation rom BlueTree VC, Grouse Ridge Capital, Yoshimi Iyadomi, and existing investor LabCo NYC.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach, drive innovative new features, and continue to provide support to their customers.

Led by CEO Mike Stafiej, Erin provides a platform which allows enterprises to automate employee referrals from the point of referral through bonus payment. The mobile app has gamification and tracking features that keep employees active with their company’s talent acquisition initiatives, driving more referrals overall and increasing the number of converted referral hires.

In addition to automating referrals and providing gamification features to drive adoption, the solution offers an AI component that benefits both employees and candidates with career development. The Internal Mobility feature set reduces turnover and bridges the career development gap for large businesses by matching employees with the next step for their career at their organization. The Referral Network add-on drives candidate involvement by helping the employees know what positions the candidates are a good fit for.
