Cybera Global, a New York-based cybersecurity company, raised $5M in funding.
The round was led by Converge VC and New North Ventures with participation from Founder Collective, Swiss VCs Serpentine, and CV VC.
The company intends to use the funds to focus on scaling its solutions addressing cybercrime.
Co-founded by Nicola Staub, CEO, Sudip Biswas, CTO, and Claudio Staub, CRO, Cyber focuses on providing victims with a quick response mechanism, and then a global watchlist which allows information to be securely shared with their clients across the financial system to ensure funds and accounts can be quickly flagged and addressed. The company has already identified +2,000 problem accounts.
