Classiq Raises Additional $13M; Series B Reaches $49M

Classiq, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based leader in quantum computing software, raised $13m in expansion of its series B round which now totals $49m.

Canadian-Israeli VC Awz Ventures made the investment, which follows an initial closing of $36m.

The company intends to use the funds to grow its R&D team (to increase from 50 to 100 workers in 2023), and expand near-term in Japan and Europe, opening local offices in the next months.

Led by Nir Minerbi, Co-Founder and CEO, Classiq is a quantum software company whose software is built for organizations that want to jumpstart and accelerate their quantum computing programs. The patented software automatically converts high-level functional models into optimized quantum circuits for most quantum computers and cloud providers.

The company, which has raised $63m since its 2020 inception, also forged new partnerships this year with Amazon, ColdQuanta, and NVIDIA.

These are the capabilities that organizations across sectors—from chemistry to finance to manufacturing, and beyond – can employ to innovate and advance in good times and bad.
