Civ Robotics, a San Francisco, CA-based autonomous surveying solution provider, raised $5m in seed funding.
The round was led by ff Venture Capital and Alley Robotics Ventures, with participation from Trimble Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate sales and marketing, technology development and growth of its team both in the U.S. and Tel Aviv, Israel, where its research and development is based.
Led by Tom Yeshurun, co-founder and CEO, Civ Robotics provides an autonomous surveying solution, CivDot, which is an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed for civil engineering and infrastructure projects, such as solar farms, roadways, data centers and power plants to name a few.
