Hysata, an Australian hydrogen electrolyser technology company looking to deliver green hydrogen, raised USD23M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Virescent Ventures on behalf of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) (Aus), with participation from Kiko Ventures (UK), IP Group Australia, Vestas Ventures (Denmark), Hostplus (Aus) and BlueScope (via its ventures arm BlueScopeX TM) (Aus).
The company intends to use the funds to grow the team and develop a pilot manufacturing facility.
Led by Paul Barrett, CEO, Hysata develops hydrogen electrolyser technology which operates at 95% system efficiency, and having the potential to be available at scale and in Europe from 2030.
