Bite Ninja, a Memphis, TN-based tech company making remote work possible for the restaurant industry, raised $11.3M in Bridge funding.

The round was led by Manta Ray Ventures, Owl Ventures, Agfunder, Pioneer Fund and TRAC Unicorn fund.

The company intends to use the funds to further enable the development of its proprietary remote staffing technology and deploy additional resources to support its sales and marketing efforts targeting the entire QSR sector.

Founded by serial entrepreneurs Will Clem (co-founder of original cultured meat company Memphis Meats) and Orin Wilson, Bite Ninja provides a virtual workforce to restaurants. Using thousands of U.S.-based “Ninjas,” the company helps restaurants virtually staff their drive-thru and front counter to create a more efficient and error-free ordering system, allowing in-store workers to focus on food quality and customer service. The Ninjas, working from a location of their choice, appear on-screen to customers at menu boards.
