Awign Enterprises Pvt Ltd, a Bengaluru, India-based work fulfillment platform provider, raised $15m in Series B funding.
The round was co-led by Bertelsmann India Investments and Amicus Capital Partners, with participation from Mynavi Corporation and existing investors Unitus Ventures, and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF).
As specified in a post, the company intends to use the funds to enhance technological capabilities, expand its digital services into global markets, and bolster supply and demand acquisitions.
Founded in 2016 by IIT alumni Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet Singh, and Praveen Sah, Awign Enterprises provides a work fulfillment platform dedicated to the gig workforce. The company works with enterprises to meet their business needs through 9 hyperlocal and digital service lines across 500+ cities in India, including auditing, diligence, proctoring, content & data operations, invigilation, last-mile delivery, new business development, telecalling and end-to-end management of high-skilled contractual talent across niche profiles.
