Pogo Raises $14.8M in Seed Funding

Pogo, a NY-based financial app that uncovers new ways to earn money and save, raised $14.8M in seed funding.

This includes a $12.3M seed round led by Josh Buckley’s Buckley Ventures and a previously unannounced $2.5M pre-seed round. Other backers include Slow Ventures, Village Global, Harry Stebbing’s 20VC, MrBeast’s Night Ventures, Hyper, Shrug, the founders of Honey, Carta, Front, Rent the Runway, the CXOs of Stripe and Adobe, and creators like The Chainsmokers, Ryan Tedder, Lenny Rachitsky, and more.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Dom Wong, Co-Founder & CEO, Pogo provides an app creating a fun and simple way for people to interact with their data to improve their financial health. It works as an agent in today’s digital world. Users can sync their data with the app and uncover new ways to earn money and smart ways to save. Users get rewards on every single purchase they make. For example, after linking purchase data, Pogo will tell users if they are overpaying on auto insurance and how to get a better deal.
