Iris Technologies, a Silicon Scope, UT-based provider of a communication hub to simplify construction project management, raised $3.2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Resolute Ventures, with participation from Animo Ventures, Long Journey Ventures, and Grix Venture Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Co-founded by Josh Whisenant, CEO, Patrick Brown, head of engineering, and Elijah Zenger, head of product, Iris is launching a platform built for project managers and engineers to simplify the communications that drive construction projects forward by combining task managers, email systems, and construction management software. The solution can be adopted by one person without changing anybody else’s workflows, and is optimized to give PMs/PEs peace-of-mind & an extra 5 hours of time every week.
