Aussie Gambling Brand BlueBet Announces Launch Plans in Three US States

Having showcased significant revenue growth in Q3, Australian mobile betting operator BlueBet decided that the announcement of its third-quarter results was the prime opportunity to announce the launch of ClutchBet.

Set to launch in Colorado, Louisiana, and the home of exciting modern payments platform provider Dwolla, Iowa, BlueBet will be following a flurry of international brands breaking into the increasingly hot US market.

Milestone move for BlueBet

BlueBet’s Q3 report of a 55.1 percent increase year-on-year to $9.2 million in a country that homes around 25 million showcases that the company perhaps needs to look overseas for further growth, especially as its winning formula has proven successful in international markets.

BlueBet has built its stellar at home by competing with AU betting sites in key areas like weekly specials and strong horse racing coverage. With US bettors having proven to like to claim bonuses and events like the Kentucky Derby being huge draws, BlueBet will be hoping that their core formula holds up on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.

A new brand for a new audience

While both speak the same language, BlueBet has identified to transform its Australian offering into a distinctly American one, which is why they’re rolling out the new brand. ClutchBet will be mobile-first, offer a best-in-class user experience, and be customer-centric. While this may not be overly different from the BlueBet ethos, the company sees the customer focus as a novel one in the raw US market.
