Vestaron Closes $82M Series C Funding

Vestaron, a Durham, NC-based peptide-based biological crop protection company, closed an $82M Series C funding round.

The round was led by Ordway Selections and Cavallo Ventures, with participation from Argonautic Ventures, Fortistar, and Endeavor8, as well as Novo Holdings, Northpond Ventures, CGC Ventures, iSelect and Syngenta Ventures. With the fundraising, the Vestaron board will add Ariel Barack (Ordway), Mike Wilbur (Cavallo) and Craig Herron (iSelect) as board observers. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
