Submittable Raises $47M in Series C Funding

Submittable, a Missoula, MT-based software company allowing organizations to launch, manage and measure social impact programs, raised $47M in Series C funding.

The round was led by Accel-KKR with participation from Next Coast Ventures, True Ventures, Next Frontier Capital, StepStone Group, and Flywheel Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and to continue expanding its products and features.

Led by Thor Culverhouse, CEO, Submittable is a social impact platform used by thousands of companies, governments, and philanthropic organizations to manage their social good programs, from grants and awards to government relief funds and corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, and maximize their impact.

The company has enables big and small organizations worldwide run 134,000 programs and collect nearly 22 million applications to date.

Submittable has helped partners such as:

  • Corporations tackle the childhood education crises in the COVID era, fund a new generation of Black creators and build bike-friendly communities
  • Local and state governments move quickly to deliver billions of dollars in aid to individuals, small businesses and renters in need of financial assistance
  • Grantmakers of all sizes—from big foundations to community nonprofits—as they launch programs to address equity, social justice, climate change and more

The company has also opened a second location in Bellevue, Wash. alongside its headquarters in Missoula, Mont.
