Fruitful Raises $33M in Seed and Series A Funding

Fruitful, a New York City-based financial wellness membership platform, raised $33M in seed and Series A funding.

The round was led by Emigrant Bank and 8VC with participation from Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Elad Gil, along with the founders of Brex, Gemini, Tagomi, as well as Kal Vepuri (Founder and CEO of Hero Health), Diogo Monica (Co-Founder of Anchorage), Andrew Rubin (Co-Founder and CEO of Illumio), Company Ventures, Third Prime, and Bienville Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Josh McManus, co-founder and CEO, Fruitful provides a financial wellness platform that provides customer-aligned banking with expert financial guidance, 24/7 customer service, and personal finance tools. The company provides these services for a subscription fee and offers expert guidance from real people.
