Hoxhunt, a Helsinki, Finland – based cybersecurity training platform provider, raised $40 million in Series B funding.
The round was led by Level Equity Management, with participation from existing investor Icebreaker.vc.
The company intends to use the funds for the development of its technology and accelerate growth in new markets, particularly North America.
Led by CEO Mika Aalto and CTO Pyry Åvist, Hoxhunt provides a SaaS based gamified platform that rewards employees for reporting simulated and real email threats, using machine learning to create millions of individualized phishing simulations. Founded in Helsinki in 2016, Hoxhunt has a team of 120 team members.
Hoxhunt currently hosts over a million end users, who receive up to 36 phishing simulations a year in 30 supported languages. Over 10 million threats have been analyzed.
