Thunkable, a San Francisco, CA-based global no-code mobile app development platform, raised $30m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Owl Ventures, with participation from previous investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, NEA, PJC, and others, as well as new investors including DJ and investor Diplo, Sky9 Capital and more.

The company intends to use the funds to improve enterprise capabilities, develop a marketplace and advocacy for creator communities, and drive the certification of individuals and curriculums.

Incubated at Google and MIT, and led by Chief Executive Officer Arun Saigal and Chief Technology Officer WeiHua Li, Thunkable provides a no-code platform that lets users build native mobile apps for every major operating system without having to write a single line of code. The company’s drag-and-drop interface makes it simple for creators to quickly bring their ideas to life, create an app in days, and publish it directly to app marketplaces.

Thunkable has 3M+ users and has equipped more than 40 percent of Fortune 500 companies with its platform.
