Syllable Raises $40M in Series C Funding

Syllable

Syllable, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based AI-enabled healthcare automation company, raised $40M in Series C funding.

The round was led by TCV with participation from existing investors Oak HC/FT, Section32, and Verily.

The company intends to use the capital to further develop its main solution, the assistant, for health system call centers and medical practice offices.

Led by Kobus Jooste, CEO, Syllable provides the Syllable Patient Assistant, an intelligent voice solution which meets patients where they are – on the phone, web, and via SMS, to connect them with the information and care they need, when they need it.
The system allows patients to navigate health care options with empathy, transparency and intelligence from the moment they request care by dialing the phone or visiting a health system’s website.
