NexHealth, a San Francisco, CA-based patient experience platform for patients, doctors, and developers, raised $125M in Series C funding.
The round, which brings the valuation to $1 billion, was led by Buckley Ventures, with participation from Lachy Groom, Jack Altman, Scott Belsky, Shreyas Doshi, Eric Glyman, Shahed Khan, Packy McCormick, and Rahul Vohra.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the team to digitize the patient experience and build new health record integrations to bolster its universal API
Founded in 2017 by Alamin Uddin and Waleed Asif, NexHealth provides a patient experience platform helping doctors and developers streamline the experience for millions of patients with EHR-integrated real-time online scheduling, patient communications, digital paperwork. The company’s Universal API integrates healthcare data from many EHR systems to break down data silos. Healthtech companies including Quip, Swell, and SmileDirectClub have partnered with NexHealth to enable their developers to build and deploy new products for patients and doctors.
The company expanded its customer base, bringing on large enterprises including Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners, Coast Dental, and Jefferson Dental, and now manage 68 million patient records.
