LifeLabs Secures $6M Seed 3 Funding

LifeLabs

LifeLabs, a Sunnyvale, CA-based textile innovator enabling the making of thermally- lifestyle apparel, raised $6M in Seed 3 funding.

The round was led by Asia Green Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.

Led by Dr. Yi Cui, Stanford professor of Materials Science and Engineering as well as Co-Founder, LifeLabs is a material sciences company based on textile patents from Stanford’s advanced materials laboratory, which enables manufacturing of commercially-viable textiles and combating the effects of climate change. The company launched to the public in October 2021 with a line of body temperature regulating apparel. Its collection of sustainable everyday wear, outdoor wear, sleepwear and bedding features a patented fabric with recycled materials that either cools body temperature or retains heat. Its flagship lines include CoolLife, which releases the body’s infrared radiation, creating less need for energy-consuming air coolers; and WarmLife, which uses reflective technology to offer less materials.
