Higg, a San Francisco, CA-based sustainability insights platform, raised $50M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Silversmith Capital Partners and Tom Steyer and Katie Hall’s Galvanize Climate Solutions, with participation from Titan Grove and Buckhill Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate delivery of technology solutions and its expansion into new consumer goods categories such as outdoor, automotive, toys, and home goods.
Led by CEO Jason Kibbey, Higg provides a sustainability insights platform for consumer goods businesses to measure, manage, and share supply chain performance data, from materials to products, from facilities to stores, from emissions to working conditions. Used by major brands as well as tens of thousands of manufacturers across the world, data on the platform is used to design more sustainable products, to expand worker well-being, and to identify suppliers with reduced impact across emissions, water, chemicals, and waste.
