Gravy, a St. Louis-based mobile app that helps renters become homeowners, launched out of beta and a $2.6M seed funding round.

The backers were not disclosed.

Founded in 2021 by Jeff Dinter, Will Dunn, and Jimmy Lien, Gravy enables renters to save for a down payment, earn rewards toward their future home purchase, learn about the homebuying process, and ultimately find and finance their home sooner. The company partners with agents and lenders who specialize in first-time homebuyers at some of the most recognized national names in real estate. The app is available nationwide for all renters.

Gravy’s flagship feature, Gravy Rewards, is a loyalty program where members can earn money toward their future home purchase. When members are ready to buy, they connect with the national network of real estate agents and lenders who specialize in helping renters purchase their first home.
