Go North, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based company that acquires and grows Amazon brands, closed a 77.5M SEK (approx. USD8.274m) seed funding round.

The round was led by eEquity with participation from angel investors such as Alexander Hars (System OK + Let’s Deal), Ludwig Mattsson (Gavia group), Victor Hielte (Ernstrom Group), Caroline Ingeborn (Leap & Toca Boca), Peter Lindholm (Frontier Car Group), Lena Apler (Collector Bank), Magnus Emilson (NA-KD & Ess Group) William & Kim Olsson (Stena + Sessan) Gustav Eriksson (Stena + Formica), Sujay Tyle (Merama), and Karin Hallin (Partners Group). 

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Johan Hallenby, founder & CEO, Go North is an e-commerce aggregator operated by Amazon FBA entrepreneurs, which acquires and scales brands on Amazon and beyond. The company has a portfolio of 11 brands, a team of nearly 20 people, and targets 1bn SEK in revenue with profitability within three years, enabled by a high acquisition rate and accelerated brand profitability.
