Filevine Raises $108M in Series D Funding

Filevine, a Salt Lake City, CA-based provider of a legal work platform, raised $108M in Series D funding.

The round was led by StepStone Group, with participation from Golub Capital, Signal Peak Ventures and Meritech Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into big law, insurance defense, corporate, governmental, and nonprofit legal counsel teams, building on its expertise in litigation and personal injury law.

Led by CEO Ryan Anderson, Filevine provides a legal work platform, which enables organizations to simplify and elevate complex, high-stakes legal work. Powering everything from document management and client communication to legal drafting and deadline and task management, over 25,000 legal professionals use Filevine daily.

In 2021 alone, the company signed 708 new customers across the legal market. Since acquiring Outlaw, a contract management solution, in May 2021, Filevine has grown Outlaw’s ARR by 400%.
