Briya Raises $5.5M in Seed Funding

Briya, a New York, Nashville, and Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of a healthcare data exchange network, raised $5.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Amiti Ventures with participation from Insight Partners and Innocare Health Investments.

The company intends to use the funds to deploy technology .

Co-founded by Guy Tish and David Lazerson, Briya provides a data exchange solution for the healthcare industry built on decentralized architecture, which is FHIR standardized. Its blockchain design allows pharmaceutical companies, researchers, and life sciences institutions to engage with data in a way that provides compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and DUA Contracts.

The company has offices in Tel Aviv, Nashville and New York, and is currently forming partnerships with research groups and healthcare systems to further its expansion in the United States.
