ShopThing Raises $10M in Series A Funding


ShopThing, a Toronto, Canada- and New York-based provider of a live shopping marketplace, raised $10M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Origin Ventures, with participation from Pritzker Group and Interplay.

The company intends to use the funds to scale across new categories, markets and product development while continuing to accelerate growth in user adoption, retail partnerships and with the content creator economy.

Founded in 2018 and led by CEO Maggie Adhami-Boynton, leverages technology that allows its network of shoppers to walk into stores and create a shoppable product with the click of a button, live streaming to audiences of hundreds of thousands and providing purchase and delivery.
