iink Payments, a Tampa, FL-based provider of digital payments network, raised $2.8M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Motivate Venture Capital with participation from Green Egg Ventures, Carolina Fintech Ventures, and IU Ventures. Additionally, Tony Ford, former CTO of Marqueta, will be joining iink’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its existing network and double down on integrations that allow for communication between iink and the core systems of both their carrier and banking partners.
Led by Tom McGrath, CEO, and co-founder, iink Payments operates a digital payments network that expedites the disbursement of funds associated with multi-party property insurance claims.
