Forerunner Ventures, a San Francisco, CA-based venture capital firm, recently closed Fund VI, at $1 billion.
The fund enables the firm to invest at the earliest stages, and in later-stage leaders and companies who they recognize changing the game in the areas the team feels most informed and passionate about.
Forerunner is a venture capital firm focused on understanding the mindset of the modern consumer and identifying the people poised to deliver what they need. To date, the firm has invested in 149 companies, being the first investors in 66% of the portfolio. They have worked closely with the vast majority of founders, and have collectively served on over 60 boards.
The firm has invested in such brands as Dollar Shave Club, Warby Parker, Hims & Hers, and dozens more.
