Revel, a Brooklyn-based electric mobility and infrastructure company, raised $126m in Series B funding.

BlackRock Renewable Power (BlackRock) led the round with participation from Toyota Ventures, Goodyear Ventures, Shell Ventures, Broadscale Group, Obsidian Ventures, the St Baker Energy Innovation Fund and an account managed by Knighthead Capital Management. Representatives from BlackRock and Toyota Ventures will also join Revel’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its network of EV fast charging Superhubs in New York City and other urban centers, creating the infrastructure needed to drive large-scale EV adoption and help these cities meet their emissions reduction goals.

Led by Frank Reig, CEO and Co-Founder, Revel pairs public fast charging infrastructure with shared mobility fleets to make it easier to go electric, driving urban EV adoption and reducing emissions. Founded in 2018, the company currently operates in New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco and Miami.
