RareCircles Raises $7.5M in Seed Funding

RareCircles, a NYC-based platform for building NFT memberships, raised $7.5M in seed funding.

The round was led by Tiger Global with participation from White Star Capital, Hashed, Alpaca, Crew Capital, Global Founders Capital, Alumni Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners, Packy McCormick (Not Boring), Joe McCann, Austin Rief (The Morning Brew), Mike Dudas (6th Man Ventures), Greg Isenberg (Late Checkout Fund) and Julien Smith (Practice).

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and business reach.

Founded by serial entrepreneurs Ethan Song and Nick D’Urbano, RareCircles provides a platform that allows anyone to make, sell and manage NFT memberships under one operating system. Users can mint NFTs across different blockchains and take payments in both crypto and fiat, while building personalized storefronts and delivering community benefits.

Song was previously the co-founder and CEO of Frank And Oak, a direct-to-consumer brand that won the Technology Fast 50 and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Company in Retail. He is a thought leader and active angel investor in the Web3, creators economy and commerce enablement space. D’Urbano occupied global leadership roles at Gilt Groupe and Spring, spearheading strategy for large marketplaces supporting thousands of merchants from Nike to Helmut Lang.
