Neura Health Raises $2.2M in Funding

Neura Health, a NYC-based provider of a neurological care app, closed a $2.2m seed funding round.

Backers included Pear VC (Doordash, Guardant Health), Norwest Venture Partners (Calm, Talkspace), Global Founders Capital, Index Ventures (Figma, Robinhood), digital health expert Nikhil Krishnan, and Next Play Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Elizabeth Burstein, CEO, and Sameer Madan, CTO, Neura Health povides an app custom-built for specific neurological conditions, providing patients with all they need to manage their condition in one place. The app includes an headache tracker, insights on personal triggers, and access to a dedicated care team, with a near-instant ability to hold video visits with board-certified neurologists specializing in headache medicine.

Neura’s first condition focus is headache and migraine, with future plans to focus on other conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and Parkinson’s.
