Grata, a New York-based private company intelligence engine provider, raised $25M in Series A funding.
The round, which brings total funding to $35m, was led by Craft Ventures with participation from Teamworthy Ventures, Altai Ventures, Eigen Ventures, Bling, Accomplice, and Touchdown Ventures as well as current and former M&A executives.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its business reach.
Co-founded by CEO Andrew Bocskocsky and COO Nevin Raj, Grata provides comprehensive coverage of private companies, featuring information and nuanced contextual insights on millions of companies. Its product combines a web data acquisition engine that scans billions of websites and proprietary machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) models that intuitively process unstructured information into nuanced, contextual insights on private companies.
