ClearEstate, a Montreal, Canada-based estate asset management suite, secured a US$13.25m Series A funding round.
The round was led by OMERS Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand throughout Canada and in the four largest US markets.
Founded in 2020 by CPO Alexandre Gauthier and CEO Davide Pisanu, ClearEstate provides a platform for executors and planners to streamline tasks and professional services related to estate planning and settlement. The startup, which has offices in Ontario, California and Texas, is now supported by some of Canada’s most credible investors, including Diagram Ventures, Torstar, Triangle Capital and NAVentures, the venture capital arm of the National Bank of Canada.
