Bright Closes $600K Financing

Bright, a New York-based consumer healthtech company, raised $600K in funding.

The round was led by Terry Moore and Charles Huang. Prior funding also included Ario Keshani, Martin Medicus, Kim and Tom Athan, Slava Kuznetsov, Ron Rothman, Larry Meehan, Katya Sverdlov, and Techstars.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop new solutions for the aging population and individuals who want to prevent Alzheimer’s disease.

Led by Wendy Bronfin, CEO, Irina Tanenbaum, COO, and Veronica Price, CKO, Wendy Bronfin, Bright is a leader in smart home technology for seniors focused on beating Alzheimer’s disease.

Founded in 2018, Bright offers BEACON40, a smart light for home office, kitchen or living room. It provides nurturing ambience, like a candle casting light that rejuvenates brain health and enhances cognitive function. BEACON40 lights can be configured with multiple, synchronized lights and have personalized settings to deliver passive light therapy while users go about their daily routines.
