BeenThereDoneThat, a London, UK-based networked intelligence system leading the Open Talent space, raised $6.5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Beringea.

The company intends to use the funds to further invest in talent, infrastructure and technology to accelerate its structure, enhancing the experience of both community and clients.

Co-founded by David Alberts and Ed Rogers, BeenThereDoneThat is a networked intelligence system composed of a deep talent pool of C-suite experts and consultants that is harnessed for on-demand intelligence and solutions based on a client’s needs. Powered by a global community of over 300 creative, strategic thinkers, the business model allows clients to tap into these thinkers to solve the world’s toughest problems, accessing experts in any business vertical, on demand.

BeenThereDoneThat works with a range of clients from multinationals to start-ups, on assignments ranging from sustainability strategy, creative, brand strategy, innovation, consulting, business capabilities and training.

The team has already served clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups. Notable engagements include creating systems to provide brand purpose; sustainability and innovation thinking on dozens of major CPG brands; training hundreds of senior marketers in its proprietary Problem Definition model; and alongside the AdCouncil, developing the strategic foundation for the U.S. vaccination efforts.
