Vajro, Inc., an Irving, Texas-based automated mobile app builder, secured $8.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Five Elms Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to advance its next generation no-code/low-code m-commerce platform with enhanced features and flexibility.
Launched in 2018 and led by Baskar Agneeswaran, CEO, and Niwin Santhosh, Vajro, COO, Vajro enables ecommerce store owners and service providers to create mobile shopping apps for Android and iOS users in 60 minutes or less without writing a single line of code.
More than 2000 brands have used the splatform to accelerate their growth. Examples include SimplyMe Boutique, Beautique, and She Shed.
The company now has 150 employees.
