Raises £7M in Funding

upco, a London, UK-based provider of a management platform for the hospitality industry, raised £7M in funding.

Backers included a private global investor (lead), former Monzo CEO, Tom Blomfield, Jägermeister and JamJar Investments.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion across UK and Europe, make new hires and build a new app to launch in 2022.

Founded by Hugo Tilmouth, 26 and Charlie Baron, 27, has been upgrading hospitality experiences since 2017, developing new solutions to help consumers order, pay and socialize. It is the parent company of a phone charging network ChargedUp, venue operator platform and mobile order and pay app, ServedUp and hand sanitiser station network CleanedUp.
