Spendesk Raises Additional €100M in Series C Funding

Spendesk, a Paris, France-based spend management solution for SMBs, raised €100M as an extension to its Series C round in July 2021 (€100M).

The round was led by Tiger Global, with all existing investors, including General Atlantic, Eight Roads Ventures, Index Ventures, and eFounders.

The company intends to use the funds to invest in growing headcount with the goal to hire 300 new people in 2022 and in its product.

Founded in 2016 by CEO Rodolphe Ardant, Spendesk provides a spend management solution for SMBs designed to save time and money across the entire spending process with visibility and built-in automation. The platform includes corporate cards, invoice payments, expense reimbursements, budgets, approval, reporting, compliance, and pre-accounting in one simple, scalable solution. It also offers employees the option to work hybrid or fully remote. Spendesk is now used by thousands of businesses from startups to established brands, such as Algolia, Soundcloud, Curve, Doctolib, Gousto, Raisin, Sezane, Wefox.

The company has offices in London, Paris, San Francisco, Berlin, and Hamburg.
