Sensi.ai, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based AI-powered virtual care management platform, closed its $14 million Series A financing round.

The round was led by Entrée Capital with participation from existing investors Flint Capital, Homeward Ventures, as well as new investors Almeda Ventures, Operator Partners, Jibe Ventures, and Yossi Matias (Google’s Health AI).

The company intends to use the funds for expansion across the U.S. in-home care agencies, and enhancement of the platform’s technological advantages.

Founded in 2020 and led by Romi Gubes, CEO, Sensi provides an AI-powered in-home virtual care agent, empowering long-term care providers to help seniors age at home. With Sensi, agencies are now able to offer a hybrid, holistic in-home care solution, combining on-premise (continuously vetted) physical care, alongside 24/7 virtual support services. This enables home-care agencies to overcome global shortage in caregivers, by ‘extending’ their current care capabilities beyond in-person care hours. Sensi also offers agencies transparency into the actual needs of each client and the ability to provide accurate care, while also encouraging and nurturing safer independence for the senior in the absence of an on-premise caregiver.
