Firebolt, a San Francisco, CA-based cloud data warehouse for builders of next-gen analytics experiences, raised $100m in Series C funding round, reaching a $1.4 Billion valuation.
The round, which brought total funding to $269m, was led by Alkeon Capital with participation from Sozo Ventures, Glynn Capital, and existing investors Zeev Ventures, Angular Ventures, Dawn Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, K5 Global and TLV Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its product and engineering teams and its business reach.
Led by Co-founder and CEO Eldad Farkash and CTO Mosha Pasumansky, Firebolt building a versatile cloud data warehouse that efficiently manages huge volumes of data for engineering teams building analytics experiences. With this new funding round, the company is also opening of its Seattle office. Firebolt also has offices in Tel Aviv and Munich.
