Assent Compliance Raises $350M in Funding

Assent Compliance, an Ottawa, Canada-based supply chain sustainability management company, raised $350M in funding.

The round was led by Vista Equity Partners. The investment valued Assent at more than $1 billion. Volition Capital, First Ascent Ventures and StepStone Group remain investors in the company. Founders and leadership team retain an ownership stake.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its SaaS platform, particularly supporting sustainability/ESG capabilities, grow its global footprint through expansion plans in Europe, and expand its team by 40%, hiring for key roles in sales, services, engineering, customer success and marketing.
