Tractiv Raises $2.25M in Seed Funding

Tractiv, a Chicago, IL-based software company that enables financial services firms and fintechs to permission, distribute, and monitor use of their data by both internal and external users, raised $2.25m (USD) in seed funding.

The round was led by Nyca Partners with participation from Tom Glocer, former CEO of Thomson Reuters.

The company intends to use the funds to expand their product offering and build out their sales and engineering teams.

Led by Drew Orsinger, CEO, Tractiv provides financial services firms and fintechs with a cloud-native solution to instantly distribute, track, and trace data regardless of data type or file size. The software integrates with both data vendors as well as internally-created proprietary data to permission, distribute, track, and report on how data is used internally or after it leaves a vendor’s environment. Tractiv supports any kind of data, regardless of data type or file size.
