Rightcharge Raises £700k in Seed Funding

Rightcharge, a London, UK-based electric car charge point and EV-friendly energy tariff comparison site, raised £700k in seed funding.

Investors included: 

  • Link Venture Capital 
  • James Hind (founder of carwow), 
  • Mike Allen (Zeus Capital / early investor in carwow), 
  • Stuart Dyble (co-founder of Influence emobility / former board member at Jaguar Land Rover) and 
  • Julia Stent (former Commercial Director at uSwitch).

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Charlie Cook, founder, Rightcharge provides a charge point and EV-friendly energy tariff comparison service for drivers to find the right charge point and energy tariff for their home or business charging needs. The tool lets users review different EV-friendly energy tariffs, home EV chargers and installation prices from a network of over 50 vetted companies.

Rightcharge supports some of the biggest automotive retailers in the UK, including Lookers and Leasing.com, as their recommended partner for charging.
