myGwork, a London UK-based business LGBTQ+ recruitment and networking platform, raised £1.6M in funding.
The round was led by 24Haymarket.
The company intends to use the funds, which were in addition to the £0.75m secured at the end of last year, to grow its user base and continue with its international expansion plans.
Led by Founders Pierre Gaubert and Adrien Gaubert, myGwork provides a business community for LGBTQ+ professionals, graduates, inclusive employers and allies. It aims to empower the LGBTQ+ community by offering individual members a safe space where they can connect with inclusive employers, find jobs, mentors, professional events and news.
Since 2014, the platform has allowed over 300 clients to attract and retain LGBTQ+ talent. FTSE 100 companies and household brand names, such as Pearson, Colgate, GSK, the United Nations, EY, BlackRock, etc. use the platform.
