Hummingbird RegTech, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a risk and compliance technology platform, raised $30M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought the total venture backed funding total to $41.8M, was led by Battery Ventures with participation from Flourish, Homebrew, FinVC, and William Hockey, co-founder of Plaid.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the team and product capabilities, and bring the platform to new markets around the world.
Led by Joe Robinson, CEO, Hummingbird provides a platform to organize the data, processes, and insights needed to enhance anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing investigations. It reduces paperwork, provides analytics, and enables collaboration for compliance professionals and law enforcement agents.
The platform is used by such organizations as Stripe, Coinbase, Evolve Bank & Trust, and Upgrade.
