Excerp, a London, UK-based startup that is building a new online written content platform, raised $5m in friends and family funding round.
The round was led by Hedge Fund Manager Edward Eisler and other employees of Eisler Capital.
The company will use the funding to accelerate the launch of its platform.
Co-founded by Alfred Mallol, Majid Sebti, and Joan Cots in December 2020 after working on the technology throughout the Covid pandemic, Excerp provides a platform that aims to create a new standard for content production, distribution and consumption of online written content.
The company currently has over 20 employees.
