Differential Ventures Launches $60M Venture Capital Fund

Differential Ventures

Differential Ventures, a NYC-based seed-stage venture capital firm, launched Fund II with a target of $60m.

The new fund will invest in seed-stage data science and machine learning companies that collect, analyze, and manage information to change the way businesses operate.

Led by and David Magerman and Nick Adams, founding partners, Differential Ventures invests in startups that have a unique advantage in data and machine intelligence across enterprise SaaS, fintech, and cybersecurity.

The companies in its portfolio are using data science, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to remove bias from the hiring process, embed data privacy at the core of technology, deploy deep neural networks on capacity-constrained devices, and exponentially expand human memory.

To date, Differential has invested in twenty startups with five located in Canada and four in Israel. This year, the firm also added a new principal, associate, and operating partner to its team.
