CData Software Raises $140M in Series B Funding

CData Software, a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based global provider of cloud connectivity and integration solutions, raised $140m in Series B funding.

The round, which brings the total funds raised to $160m, was led by Updata Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its cloud capabilities, investing in further development of its cloud-native universal data platform, and hiring additional talent across the organization to continue broadening its global presence.

Led by Amit Sharma, co-founder and CEO, CData Software is a provider of data access and connectivity solutions, specializing in the development of standard drivers and data access technologies for real-time access to online or on-premises applications, databases, and web APIs. From Fortune 500s and Global 2000s to SMEs worldwide, more than 10,000 organizations use the company’s connectivity. In 2021, major data management providers like Google, Salesforce, SAS and OutSystems joined the likes of Tableau, Informatica and Tibco in embedding CData technologies to support their customers’ connectivity demands.
