Wrapbook, a Los Angeles, New York City, and Toronto, Canada-based provider of a digital financial services platform for the project economy, raised $100m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Tiger Global Management, with participation from new and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, A*, Jeffrey Katzenberg’s WndrCo, Uncork Capital, and Equal Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue building out the platform and team to support the needs of major studios, networks and production companies across television, film, commercials and live events.
Led by Ali Javid, CEO, and Cameron Woodward, CMO, Wrapbook provides a digital financial services solution that offers production companies of every size employer software and workers a portable profile. It makes it easier for companies to on-board and insure cast and crew and for employees to receive and track their payments.
The company is currently supporting over 1,000 projects per month nationwide and has a team of 90 employees.
