Wellinks (formerly known as Convexity Scientific Inc.), a New Haven CT-based digital healthcare company, raised $25M in funding.
The round was led by new investor Morningside Ventures with participation from returning investors HighCape Capital, Connecticut Innovations, Benslie Ltd., and Stonehenge Capital. As part of the funding round, Stephen Bruso of Morningside Ventures will join Wellinks’ board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, the development of clinical research studies and expansion of its partnerships with payers and providers.
Led by Alex Waldron, CEO, Wellinks is a digital healthcare company offering an integrated, virtual Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) management solution. Wellinks combines virtual pulmonary rehabilitation, personalized health coaching, and monitoring through connected devices and a patient-friendly app.
