Swimm Raises $27.6M in Series A Funding

-

Swimm, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based company making continuous documentation an integral part of the development lifecycle, raised $27.6m Series A funding.

The round, which brought Swimm’s total funding to $33.3m, was led by Insight Partners, with participation from Dawn Capital, alongside existing seed investors Pitango First and TAU Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to scale the team and continue to develop the platform.

Led by Oren Toledano, CEO and Co-founder and Omer Rosenbaum, CTO and Co-founder, Swimm helps engineering teams understand their code, through knowledge building and continuous, auto-synced documentation. The platform allows engineers to build documentation that includes “live” snippets from the codebase that auto-sync with changes. This incorporates the creation and maintenance of code documentation into the development workflow.
