Propelo Raises $12M Series A Funding

Propelo, a Sunnyvale CA-based AI-driven engineering excellence platform, raised $12M in Series A funding.

The round, which brings the total amount raised through the Seed and Series A rounds to $16M, was led by Decibel Partners, with participation from existing investors such as Fike Ventures, Eniac Ventures, and Fathom Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and its business reach.

Led by Founder and CEO Nishant Doshi, Propelo provides an Engineering Excellence platform for businesses to accelerate their software delivery. The platform connects the dots across 40+ DevOps tools and provides out-of-the-box insights. These insights are connected to no-code RPA playbooks called “Propels” that automate actions, providing an intelligent response based on the data and provide missing insights that will help users deliver software with quality and security.

Delivered as a SaaS solution, the system integrates with SDLC tools such as Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins to compute DORA metrics and over 100 other insightful metrics within hours.

Propelo’s Founder & CEO Nishant Doshi, a former VP of engineering at Palo Alto Networks, was responsible for three high-growth product lines and managed hundreds of engineers. He’s assembled a veteran team of engineering leaders from Checkr, GitLab and ServiceNow.
